Accounting
Yardi Voyager is first and foremost a Property Management and Asset Management software system, but what good is that system if you can’t manage your cash flow, understand where your Account Payable and Receivables are at, and get accurate reports out to the investors on time? The accounting system within Yardi Voyager is very robust and has the potential to satisfy all of your accounting needs, as long as you can understand how to make the system work for you. For more than 10 years, we have been focused on understanding, and helping Yardi clients understand, some of the most complex financial processes within Yardi Voyager, including Inter-company, Cross-Entity Transactions, and GL Allocations. We also specialize in tying out AP and AR as well as helping clients with EOM close in order to simplify their bank reconciliations as much as possible. Implementation
A successful Yardi implementation is a result of the combination of 2 things; 1). a good Consultant and 2). a good Project Manager. No two businesses operate the same, and the Yardi Voyager platform is extremely flexible. It is vitally important that the Consultant be able to understand the business processes of the client and to tailor the functionality within Voyager to match those processes. One of the biggest leaks in the implementation process is having the consultant setup functionality that doesn’t work for the way you do business and then having to go back and revamp that functionality after back-and-forth discussions with the consultant. We have first-hand knowledge of how to adapt Voyager’s functionality to meet such diverse needs.
We provide an overview of some of Yardi's "Best Practices" for clients to assist with better managing your business. We will review things such as when to close the Month, when to Post Rents, and what reports can be automated to optimize your productivity.
Typically this is a two day onsite visit where we can meet with your key team players and review what your current Yardi processes are. After we understand your current processes, we can advise on some of the best practices and assist with setting these up for you.
